China Mobile has revealed further plans to integrate the two network technologies at the core of its network, having already announced dual-mode handsets for GSM and TD-SCDMA.
Wang Jianzhou, chairman and CEO of China Mobile, told the GSMA Asia Congress in Macau this week that the original plan to construct a standalone TDSCDMA network is now replaced with a new plan to bridge the TD-SCDMA radio network to the core GSM network.
