Metro PCS, ZTE Working On LTE Phones

Source: Forbes
Since 2007, Chinese manufacturer ZTE and Dallas-based carrier Metro PCS have enjoyed a successful "East meets West" business relationship, with ZTE's U.S. subsidiary providing low-cost cellphones for Metro PCS' network.

The partnership remains strong, says Metro PCS Chief Operating Officer Tom Keys. Strong enough, in fact, that the two are already working together on handsets with the fourth-generation wireless technology Long Term Evolution (LTE). Keys says ZTE is developing a smart phone with a large screen and an HTML-compatible browser for a better mobile Web experience.
