Telefon AB LM Ericsson plans to set up a laboratory in Taiwan to test mobile gears built on the Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, which is rivaling WiMAX to lead the world`s fourth-generation mobile format, according to the Swedish company`s president for the Greater China operation, Mats H. Olsson.
