Qasara and Rohde & Schwarz announced today that the two companies have successfully verified the ETSI 3GPP LTE TTCN-3 test cases during ongoing inter-operability testing between Qasara’s Virtual UE and Rohde & Schwarz's 3GPP LTE Virtual Tester. The ETSI TTCN-3 test cases provide a formal, end-to-end verification of the LTE NAS attach, controlled bearer establishment, NAS/AS security procedures, U-plane data transfer and detach procedures between the LTE mobile and the network as specified by the 3GPP standard. Rohde & Schwarz and Qasara will be demonstrating the ETSI 3GPP LTE conformance test cases at the LTE Summit in Berlin May 18 – 20, 2009.
