Exalt Communications, the company that is reinventing microwave backhaul, will demonstrate at CTIA this week a live, hybrid TDM/IP end-to-end microwave backhaul network for mobile operator transport infrastructures from edge access cell sites to the aggregation and core networks. The LTE-ready network features the company’s extensive carrier-class product portfolio across multiple physical configurations, frequency bands, microwave transmission technologies and native TDM/IP traffic mix, for mobile backhaul applications with any combination of 2G, 3G and LTE. The demonstration network consists of three edge access links aggregated via a hub aggregation node and then backhauled to one high capacity TDM/IP core aggregation node.
