Indonesian mobile operator XL Axiata plans to test LTE with Ericsson Indonesia. The companies have signed a cooperation agreement on testing LTE but are still waiting for a test licence from the government. XL and Ericsson plan to hold trials in the second half of this year, which will also involve government and education institutions.
