Tekelec, the broadband data management company, today launched its new Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) to help operators cost effectively scale and manage services and applications on 3G and all-IP LTE and IMS networks. The DSR reduces the complexity of connecting, provisioning and interoperating essential Diameter-based equipment. Diameter is a key next-generation signaling protocol for the all-IP network, carrying policy, charging, mobility management, and authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) traffic.
