According to NTT DOCOMO's press release today, it has reiterated its plan to start LTE service in 2010 (see also NTT DoCoMo Reveals Roadmap From 3G to 3.9G, Sep. 10/2008). The following is the excerpt from the press release:
Deployment of mobile broadband using LTE: To facilitate a widening array of advanced mobile broadband services, DOCOMO will construct a high-speed, low-latency, large-capacity network by implementing LTE from 2010.
