ADC Showcases Flexible, Cost-Effective WiMAX and LTE Infrastructure Solutions at 4G World

Source: ADC press release
ADC (www.adc.com) today announced that it will demonstrate a complete and highly flexible portfolio of 4G infrastructure solutions at the 4G World 2009 show, being held in Chicago's McCormick Place, September 15-18, 2009. By implementing ADC's unique micro-cellular architecture, these solutions enable carriers to deploy WiMAX or LTE services rapidly while saving 50 to 60 percent over the cost of traditional macro network architecture.

ADC's FlexWave(TM) MMX 6000 WiMAX pico cells can be deployed in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost of traditional macro network base stations. Lightweight and ruggedized for outdoor use, these base stations can be mounted on poles, walls, ceilings, or street furniture to deliver precision coverage with high capacity in any location. When combined with InterReach(R) Fusion and Unison in-building DAS solutions, ADC WiMAX pico cells allow wireless operators to place base stations in centralized, cost-effective locations and then easily distribute signals through a network of antennas. These solutions support high-capacity applications of any size or scale, including urban cores, rural and small communities, university and enterprise campuses, subways and stadiums.
